Anthony Joshua prepares to battle Jake Paul in an eight-round fight which will be broadcast live on the streaming platform.
British boxer Anthony Joshua declared he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "defeat" the American as the two fighters came face-to-face to promote the upcoming bout.
Ex two time world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a mammoth uneven pairing - at Miami's Kaseya Center on 19 December.
Fighter's Mentality
"I will injure his face and break his body up. I'm here to prove I'm superior," the British boxer, 35, said.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's how fighters think.
"I'm going to seriously aim to cause him pain. That's my goal."
Civil Interaction
Despite those words, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - typically known for his dramatics - shared friendly words and remained civil with each other.
Jake Paul instead targeted ex Joshua's opponent Francis Ngannou and called him "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian turned down a bout proposal.
Taking Aim at Fury
Joshua, in the meantime, targeted UK opponent Fury - and rejected a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a Paul victory.
"[Paul] is superior to Tyson Fury - he showed up," the boxer said.
"I respect him for that."
Serious Opponent
Despite saying he intends to hurt Jake Paul, Joshua chose not to talk badly about his opponent's boxing ability.
"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he said.
Jake Paul's History
Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has mainly boxed mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since turning professional.
He was defeated by British fighter Fury in 2023.
Commercial Attraction
However, the novice is still one of the sport's greatest money-making draws, regularly earning massive earnings.
Forecast and Belief
The 28-year-old anticipated a knockout win in round four or five and asserted he would stop the much-anticipated Fury-Joshua bout, which is apparently being planned for two years from now.
"The next fight will be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul said.
Physical Disparity
As both boxers met for the traditional face-off, with their size difference clearly visible, it highlighted just how improbable this whole event is - and how remarkable it is that the match is actually happening.
